How to Block or Remove Roblox on Any Device (2026 Guide)

Sometimes the answer isn’t limits inside Roblox — it’s blocking it entirely for a while, whether for a break, a consequence, or because your child is too young. Here’s how to block, time-limit, or fully remove Roblox on every major device.

iPhone & iPad

Use Screen Time. Go to Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions. You can block the App Store from installing Roblox, set an App Limit to zero minutes for Roblox, or add it to “Not Allowed” under app restrictions. To remove it outright, delete the app and set “Don’t Allow” for installing apps.

Android & Chromebook

Use Google Family Link. In the Family Link app, select your child, tap the Roblox app, and choose “Block” — or set a daily time limit of zero. You can also uninstall it remotely and turn off new app installs without approval.

Windows PC

Use Microsoft Family Safety. Add Roblox to blocked apps, or set an app time limit. You can also block the Roblox website at the browser level. To fully remove it, uninstall Roblox from Settings → Apps and block reinstalls.

Xbox & PlayStation

On Xbox, use Microsoft Family Safety to restrict or set time limits on Roblox. On PlayStation, use Family Management to block the app or set play-time limits per child account.

Block It Everywhere at Once (Router / DNS)

To block Roblox on every device on your home Wi-Fi, use your router’s parental controls or a family DNS service to block the Roblox domains. This is the most complete option, though a child on mobile data or a friend’s network can still get around it.

Blocking works best paired with a conversation. Kids who understand why Roblox is paused (and when it’s coming back) push back far less than those who just find it gone.
